Our BWE Drilling - Drill and Blast business unit provides full production drilling and specialty blasting services across the civil and mining industries. Our range of services are all performed with minimal disturbances to the surrounding environment and construction areas.
Job Description
What You'll Do:
Design drill and blast patterns using industry-standard software
Generate drill and blast plans and instructions for operations teams
Conduct blast performance review and post-blast analysis
Collaborate closely with site safety, environmental, and statutory requirements
Continually improve blasting efficiency and monitor performance metrics
Support training and mentoring or operational personnel as required
What You Bring:
Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role - civil blasting and vibration
Valid Australian drivers license
Proficient with blast design and mine planning software
CAD Software experience
Strong understanding of blasting procedures and safety protocols
National Police Clearance
